Technical Description

 

The Comdronic Ac5 is an electronic manometer programmed to carry out differential pressure measurements primarily on balancing valves in the building services industry. The state-of-the-art software and extensive database of most of the world’s balancing valves allows direct reading of flow, differential pressure, percentage of design flow and target flow.

The easy to follow menu is similar to that of a mobile telephone although only four buttons are used for complete navigation. Readings are highly visible by way of the LED display.

System accuracy is guaranteed by the use of highly sensitive laser trimmed piezo resistive sensor elements, protected from over-pressure by a novel and unique by-pass valve arrangement.

Measurement Accuracy Differential pressure 100 Pascals or 1%, whichever is the greatest.

Measurement Range 0.1 kPa to 160 kPa 0 to 95 °C

Effective Operating Time 8 hours dependent on use.

Database When fully programmed there can be data for over 1200 separate balancing valves and flow measurement devices readily accessible for direct reading of flow.

• Set Flow
   - design flow, target flow, specific gravity and Kvs values.

   - maker, valve group, model number, size and handwheel position (if relevant).

   - display temperature, battery voltage, screen brightness, system damping, alerts, invert display, highest average pressure being measured, lowest average pressure being measured, range, serial number and version number.
